These are things we have confirmed or discovered over time through personal experience and that we know authors all over the world agree with, so in effect they are tips rather than tutorials.

If you are an aspiring author without basic writing skills we will still be able to assess your work and give you useful advice. However, it would be in your best interest to learn the basic skills first before starting a project (see Useful Links).
